Notes To Parents
Eight of our students will be participating in the 2008 Nutcracker performance at CY Stephens auditorium on December 12-14. Congratulations to the following students:

If you know of any one that is interested in dance classes, please let them know that most of our dance classes are full. If they are interested in registering for any classes, they should do so as soon as possible. Our acro classes are full at this time. Student’s can be put on a waiting list if they are interested in acro.
We will be having parent observation for room 1 (Shelby’s classes) October 12-16. Observation in room 2 (Katelyn’s classes – Jazz 1, 2, & 3) will be on October 23rd. Please remember the following while you are observing:
- Siblings should remain seated. Please do not allow them to play on equipment or run around.
- Please remain quiet while you are observing.
- Please turn off cell phones & pagers.
- If your child has a hard time in class while you are watching, it may be best to leave the room.
- You may take pictures, however, please do not walk around the room to do so.
- Please limit the number of people observing to 2 or 3, as there is limited space.
- Please let your child know in advance that you will be watching & let them know your expectations during observation time.
Thank you to all of the student’s who have been attending class in appropriate dancewear and have their hair pulled back. We are still having some student’s attending class with street clothes & cover-ups on and hair down. Please review you studio dress code if you are unsure about what your child should wear. Student’s not dressed appropriately will be asked to leave the room.
Everyone will be receiving their recital agreement and costume deposit statements the first week of October. Please return the recital agreements by October 24th. Costume deposit is due by November 7th. It is very important that we know how many student’s will be participating in the 2009 recital. Costume’s will need to be ordered in December to assure delivery by the end of April. If you have any questions about this information, please feel free to ask.
Reminder!! – If students are not in class, they should be in the waiting room. Students should not be in the small dance room, on any acro equipment, or upstairs without permission. Student’s who would like to stretch before class or work on solo’s/duet’s may use the small dance room. If you are stretching or working on a solo or duet, you should only be on the dance floor and not on equipment.
